Omni Express Patient Monitor Receives FDA Clearance

On Monday November 29 2010 the newest member of the Infinium patient monitor series received FDA clearance for sale in the US.   This adds one more prestigious certification to the Infinium Omni series patient monitor line which already has been ISO 13485 and CE certified.  For these certifications, the Infinium Omni Express along with all other Infinium patient monitors had to meet rigorous quality and safety tests of the AAMI, IEC, and ANSI institutions.    The Omni Express patient monitor has passed all of these on the first round of testing.   This is true testament to the quality of engineering and design that goes in to each of the Infinium patient monitors we offer, such as our anesthesia machines, capnography monitors, heart rate monitors, and the rest of our innovative Omni series.

The domestic sales of the Omni express will begin December 1st 2010 with the installation over 50 units in various medical facilities. Omni express patient monitors have several key features that separate if from the standard medical monitor.   The Omni Express is very compact weighing in at 6 LBS. It has a rigid frame with a touch screen and long life Li-ion battery and optional capnography.  This combination of features allows this patient monitor to fit well in many medical care areas.   Patient transport, EMS, Bedside, Post anesthetic care, emergency rooms, physician offices are just a few areas where these versatile patient monitors can be used.
